Egg freezing is not for everyone.

If you decide not to freeze your eggs, you may like to consider your other options which may or may not include having children in the future.

This section of the website covers:

• Embryo freezing - Another way to preserve a woman's fertility. It requires sperm from a male partner or donor.
• Trying for a child now – Either naturally or with fertility treatments such as IVF. It also requires sperm from a male partner or donor.
• Waiting to see what happens – This can include trying for a child later (naturally or with fertility treatments), living child free, adoption or fostering.

Note: Ovarian tissue freezing (cryopreservation) is another fertility preservation method. It is currently only available for women considering fertility preservation for medical reasons such as cancer treatment.
